It covers; \nBasic class content – to include warm up\, cool down and stretch \nPrinciples and fundamentals \nPre – Pilates \n34 original exercises \nProgression and modification \nAnatomy and physiology\, Health and Safety \nPostural analysis\, core stability and movement analysis \nOverview of special populations in exercise \nTeaching and communication skills \n  \nIt is assessed through YMCA awards assessment procedure\, which includes the following elements \nOne Hour Multiple choice paper – anatomy and physiology for health and exercise \nOne Hour Multiple choice paper – principles of exercise\, fitness and health \nWorksheets on \nHealth\, safety and welfare in the fitness environment \nKnow how to support clients who take part Exercise and Physical activity \nFundamentals of Pilates \nThe Original Exercises and Modifications and Adaptations \nA progressive programme\, and viva \nA detailed lesson plan for a matwork group class – practical teaching assessment \nThis course can be studied either weekend only or school run friendly \nSRF weekday course is 22 sessions 10 – 1.30 on Thursday term time\, plus 3 Sundays for special lectures. Followed by YMCA awards Assessment \nCost: £2000 in advance (includes a free FiP course when paid in advance) \nInstallment £500 deposit and 8 monthly payment of £215  \n
